Reliv and Islam

One of our readers posted today that she just learned that Reliv has "Halal" certified their products. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it might make a few people unhappy that an American company is subjecting itself to Islamic mandates for quality control.

"The majority of Relìv products are Halal under the supervision of the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA). Through their lack of alcohol or any questionable ingredients of animal origin, these Relìv products receive the Halal certification and are thus fit for consumption by Muslims. You can review a copy of the : Halal Certification and specific products."

Hi, I came from Malaysia and I'm sure Reliv wanted the Halal certification so they could penetrate the Islamic market. I too just bought a can of reliv Now, Innergize and a bottle of 24k from a local distirbutor here in Missouri after mentioning about my husband stress. After stumbling upon this blog, I changed my mind and will not be buying anymore Reliv products. We all just need balanced nutrition, no need for pricey concoction. Thank you.
