Reliv Caused - Colds, Hives, Heart Palpitations

I received the following from one of our readers. I am so thankful for the people who take the time to send us their experience with Reliv. I do hope that some who read this will be able to make a clear and wise decision before buying or joining Reliv.

"Hi my experience taking Reliv (about 3 months) was both good and bad....

The good:

I slept better, energy and focus increased

The bad:

Constant colds, broke out in hives (I have no known allergies) and I had heart palpitations. The bad wins. . . no more Reliv for me!

God determines who walks into your life. . . it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go."

I have been taking Reliv for a few weeks (6 exactly), and noticed that I did in fact feel much better. I am very picky about pesticide-free/fair trade/non-gmo/ethical business practices and the only thing I didn't like about Reliv was the soy. But the soy was non-ge, so I gave it a go. But here is why I'm concerned about Reliv:
Yes, I felt great. Then I stopped taking for 2 days. This is what happened:
1. My arrythmia, which I haven't had in years, came back. I find this very suspect. Hmmm.
2. My anemia, which I only have when pregnant, also came back. I can tell right away when my iron is low, because you can see it if you're wearing 24k gold, there is a chem reaction that causes fingers to turn grey where the gold touches. It was very black around my ring finger=low iron. Also suspect.
3. Started developing eczema. This is new, never had it before Reliv.
4. I feel nutritionally depleted now, total lack of energy.
5. My arthritis has returned, which I haven't had in YEARS. Mind you, I've been taking Reliv for a little over a month.

This is why I'm concerned: When taking a nutritional supplement, your body reserves many of the minerals and vitamins, like b-12 for example, and A, D, E. You don't lose them. Since Reliv claims to have a patent on this amazing way of nutritionally healing the body, I can't help but wonder--why do my other supplements keep my body in good shape a few weeks after, and Reliv seems to make all my troubles come back 2-fold? It makes me wonder if there 'wonder nutrients' aren't somehow addictive and thats the patent that is so great for them. I am not in bed right now because my heart palpitations are so terrible. This is usually the result of a B12 deficiency. It seems to me that something in their vitamins is actually depleting my system if I stop using it. I wondered if anyone else had thought the same thing.

Hi. I began taking reliv in September of '10. I have struggled with being underweight for several years and was very satisfied with reliv within a month of taking it. I put on a healthy amount of weight, felt way more energetic, had a clearer mind, etc. However, as of about a month ago, I began having heart palpitations, while on reliv. I am wondering, if reliv is the perfect multi vitamin, why it could be that I am having palpitations, as they are usually a symptom of a potassium or magnesium deficiency. Last week, around Thursday, I stopped taking reliv (no reason, just had a busy week/weekend) and ever since I have had HORRIBLE palpitations. It is terrifying. I am wondering what the correlation is!! If you have figured out your problem, please let me know. I am going to my doc on Thursday and hoping to hear some relieving news as this is always so scary. Thanks.
